Brain Mapping Preparation

Brain mapping is a comfortable procedure in which you recline in a comfortable chair and have electrodes, or sensors, applied to your scalp and your ear lobes.  The electrode sites will be cleaned with a gel, and the electrodes will be applied with a small amount of paste, which can be removed with water or alcohol.  In order to ensure good electrode contact with your skin, we ask that you wash your hair prior to the appointment, in order to remove any excess oil, and that you do not use any hair products, like conditioner or gel, that might stay on the hair.
